Lion Kircheis
Lion Kircheis is a Doctoral Researcher at the Research Group for International Politics and Conflict Research and a PhD student at the Graduate School of the Social and Behavioural Sciences (GSBS). He is affiliated with the ERC-funded POLIMPACT project at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) and the Swedish Research Council project "The Implications of Climate Change Mitigation for Social Unrest" at Uppsala University. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz. His research interests lie broadly in the determinants and consequences of violence and conflict, with a particular emphasis on climate change, its mitigation, and environmental factors. Exploring these intersectionalities, he employs quantitative methods, geographical data analysis, and statistical modeling.
