Registration for the Master Orientation Camp will be available on the 26th of August

The Orientation camp for Master students will take place from the 30. September – 4. October in the black forest, around 1 ½ hours away from Konstanz: We will divide the new students into two groups that will, each, spend two nights in a hostel in the black forest. The event is organized by your fellow students and will include a lot of fun activities as well as useful information about your upcoming studies and life in Konstanz.

In Memoriam Monika Schäfer

On 6 August 2024, our former colleague Ms Monika Schaefer passed away at the age of 82. Ms Schaefer was the first Erasmus Coordinator at the Department and worked at the University of Konstanz for almost 30 years.

The University of Konstanz's long-term study on remote work has shown that employees often suffer from symptoms of stress and exhaustion when they are no longer allowed to work from home. Kilian Hampel in the German media: Why young Germans vote for populists

In the study Jugend in Deutschland 2024 (Youth in Germany 2024), Kilian Hampel shows that young Germans have lost their trust in the entire political system.
