Second Rutgers-Konstanz Summer School on HR Consulting
Eleven students took part in the innovative summer school, which compares US and European perspectives on HR management and consulting.
Together with our long-standing partner, Rutgers University in the USA, the department organised a summer school for the second time. Over the course of a week, students from North America and Europe learnt about the techniques and principles of HR consulting. Teaching was provided by Professor Joe McCune from Rutgers, with the participation of Konstanz lecturers Ann Sophie Lauterbach and Adrian Bidlingmaier as well as Dr. Sophie Klueser from the University of St. Gallen. The programme also included a visit from Microsoft's Employee Experience Lead, who gave an overview of the company's modern HR strategies and evaluations. As part of their strategic development, the universities of Rutgers and Konstanz intend to offer and expand the course format in the coming years.
