Vortragende Person/Vortragende Personen:

Under the slogan "Twitter et al. 2018 - Research and Self-Promotion Online” we want to discuss the potential gains (or risks) of using social media and/or other academic platforms (e.g. Researchgate) to promote one’s own research. The roundtable is open to everyone and we hope for a fruitful discussion.

In order to facilitate the discussion, we will first have a short input presentation by our external guest, Dr Theresa Reidy, U Cork and co-editor of the International Political Science Review. On top of that, Prof. Nils Weidmann and Julian Schüssler have agreed to give us a first hand account of their personal experience with social media. Afterwards we will have an open discussion.

Drinks and Bretzeln will be provided thanks to the Department.
