Clemens Nollenberger

Since October 2021, Clemens Nollenberger is a doctoral student at the CDM with Peter Selb as first supervisor. He is also a member of the Graduate School of the Social and Behavioural Sciences (GSBS). His dissertation investigates age-related inequality in political participation and democratic representation, with a particular focus on the underrepresentation of young voters. Apart from his dissertation project, his further interests include the role of public opinion for policy outcomes, as well as the role of candidate characteristics and government coalitions for political behavior.

Until 2021, he completed his MA degree in Politics and Public Administration (with specialization in comparative politics and quantitative methods) at the University of Konstanz as well as at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow (UK). Previously, he already completed his BA degree at the University of Konstanz as well as at the University of Bath (UK).
